Nowhere!…after weather cooled,considerably…and rain descended,continually…..I felt a little better…so now managing some artwork,but,not very much,as lots of alterations going on in house! Oh!..for peace and quiet way from drills and hammers!! I’m still behind with my AB’s but have been concentrating on ATC’s,as being small,I can finish one between nerve racking (literally..as loud,sharp noise makes me jump) building works…..have been getting quite carried away with my alphabet ATC’s….trying to come up with a different slant on the letters.
Not much done…again..
Been feeling ill lately,so only managed a couple of ATC’s for 121 swaps….got to really catch up with my art commitments,but eyes playing up…luckily weather a lot cooler…even had rain,so fingers crossed! Had a birthday this week…so many flowers,I got worried,that there was something I didn’t know!!

and I’m not referring to glue!…the weather is taking its toll. One of the wonderful aspects of MS,is the effect of heat..especially UK heat..aka humidity! The past week the sun has been shining gloriously..welcome over here in rainy Northern England….but with the sun comes a very humid atmosphere…ok!,nothing like the tropics,but us Brits are always moaning about our weather,and I don’t want to disappoint! and for me it just totally drains me,so haven’t done any art at all…in fact,been too wiped out to do anything but watch daytime TV! Today is cloudy,with prospect of downpours,the garden certainly needs it…and,I would welcome the cool air. A couple of cooler days and I can get back to art projects…before too many over power me!
A Challenge….
to make a complete alphabet of ATC’s for one of my Groups. Strange as it seems,I’ve made many ATC’s for various swaps,but,never done an alphabet one! As this is a small,and new group of mainly beginners,I’m under no pressure what so ever,so therefore in my element…creating ATC’s of varying mediums.
What have I done!
Not a lot lately.As always I blame the weather…never myself:) I’m having a period of total inactivity…just can’t get my head around artwork that needs doing…need,being the operative word! I must finish pieces that are due for various swaps…this seems to be an ongoing crisis that I will have to address…and soon! I’ve just received two books…Metal Craft Discovery Workshop,by Linda and Opie O’Brien,and Kaleidoscope by Suzanne Simanaitis…they look fabulously creative inspiration,so I’m off for a look inside them,and hopefully my muse will return!

or maybe not! I’ve been trying another blog set up….mainly ‘cos I liked the layout!I know…never judge a book blah!blah! Being pretty non techy…I really don’t think it’s me that can’t figure it out…but,I can’t get past the posting,links just don’t work! Ah,well!will persevere with Word Press. At least it stops me from spending.lol. Yesterday I received some American foodstuffs I’d bought from an online shop…woo hoo!delicious! lots of scrummy sweets,pickles,sauces…and more….and the popcorn!no-one is getting hold of that

Is it the weather!
I’ve been feeling so down lately,not sure if it’s due to MS,or because of the unpredictability of the weather….or maybe just off!! I’ve got so behind with my art swaps,mainly AB’s…however managed to sort a couple of smaller swaps,ie.ATC’s and some paper dolls. Life is rather hectic aound here,as having some alterations on home…maybe that’s unbalancing me,I like peace and quiet,so I can concentrate on my artwork.Ah well! soon be sorted. I’ve neglected my friends,to be truthful…I just can’t be bothered…sounds horrible,but it’s how I’m feeling.My friend Deepa,is really down..some due to illness,but there’s more,and I feel helpless as I can’t help her.Another reason for my downside. Have to take care..as you all know,when women get down,they shop!!Resist it girl:)
Now kids have left home,
I see my son more than when he lived here! Today has not been a very fruitful day…spent more time answering the phone…son is selling his car,and nobody calls his mobile…so mum gets interrupted! So what does a woman do….shop!!…ok,so it was online. Treated myself to some gorgeous arty bits from Artchix Studio, now I’ll soon have more goodies,as if I haven’t already got enough, I hear my friends say…but,you CAN’T have enough! I love all those metal bits and bobs,those fabby collage pages,and don’t get me going over the German scrap…woo hoo! As I’ve joined another ATC group,I needed some new papers as an incentive..and that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.;)

Managed to escape any jokes..although the BBC did try it on with their Smellie vision…I wonder if anyone really tried,noses pushed up to computer screens,to smell the fragrant cheese!!..quite a few I suspect!many did believe that spaghetti grew on trees,25 years ago….oh!no!..I didn’t!

I’ve managed to add a little to my ART part of blog…not a lot.Considering I’m known as a chatterer(being polite here!)..I don’t seem to be able to write it down..maybe just need the practice! and a lesson in writing so peeps can understand me,as I do tend to speak kangaroo(hopping from subject to subject)….just thought you’d need an explanation Now I must go to figure out what I’m going to talk about and what Art I should include.
